Parent handbook

The Quest Early Learning Parent Handbook provides families with clear and detailed information about our service, routines, policies and expectations.

The handbook supports transparency and consistency, helping families understand how our service operates and what to expect. It includes information about health and safety, daily routines, communication, arrival and departure procedures and family engagement.

Families are encouraged to refer to the handbook regularly and speak with our team if they have questions. The Parent Handbook supports strong partnerships between families and educators, ensuring children experience consistent, high-quality care.

Nutrition & Meals

At Quest Early Learning, we support children’s health and wellbeing through positive nutrition practices and respectful mealtime experiences. Mealtimes are calm, social and supportive, helping children develop healthy relationships with food. These routines are part of our broader childcare services and daily wellbeing focus. It helps families understand how our childcare services operate and what to expect.

Families provide meals that meet their child’s nutritional needs. Educators support safe food storage, allergy management and positive eating behaviours.

Children are encouraged to listen to their hunger cues and develop independence during mealtimes. Nutrition education is embedded naturally through daily routines and learning experiences.

By working in partnership with families, we support children to develop healthy habits that contribute to lifelong wellbeing.

Circle of security

Circle of Security is a relationship-based approach that helps children feel safe, understood and supported — especially during big emotions and everyday transitions. It focuses on building secure attachments between children and educators, so children have the confidence to explore, learn and connect with others.
