2.5–4 years

Through play-based experiences, children build language, emotional regulation and early problem-solving skills while developing friendships and a sense of belonging. Educators intentionally extend children’s interests with activities that encourage creativity, movement and curiosity. Daily routines help children practise self-help skills and responsibility, preparing them for a smooth transition into kindergarten and the next stage of learning.

The EYLF philosophy
